mirror screen protector for iphone 3g

has anyone tried it? it looks quite convenient for it also being a portable mirror. but i have few concerns...

1. Does the light sensor work fine with the mirror film on?
2. Does it degrade the screen at all?
3. How is it out side, in very sunny settings?

Used to have it on my phone. It's great indoors but once you are in the sun it's unusable.

Just got rid of mine a week ago for this very reason.

The sun reflecting on the screen makes it impossible to see anything

The colors on the phones screen are a little dimmer due to the cloudy material of the mirror

Over all; try it for a few weeks then ditch it. it's a hoe, not a house wife 😀

i love it! it also keeps eyes away from your screen because it's kind of hard to see from the side.

I like having a mirror on it. Everything works fine with it on, I thought it would be too thick, but it's not too bad.

In the sunlight it's verrryyy bad you have to shadow over it so you can see.

But it's fun!

Same here.
I loved it for 2-3 weeks cause it makes the iphone look pretty slick.
But during the day you can barely see whats on the screen and at night the screen is alot dimmer.
I slapped on a clear screen protector a few days ago and wow, I can see the screen and colors way better.

Just got rid of mine a week ago for this very reason.

Add me to the tried it, took it off within a week crowd. Even in full light, it's only OK. It takes away from the beauty of the screen even more so than the "smudge free" protectors.
