When presenting on Google Meet, I get this mirroring issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

It's not a MacBook Air problem. As the on-screen message says, if you're sharing your entire screen or browser window, this will happen. Just share the particular window with the content you want to share, not the entire desktop.

There’s no option though for just sharing a window and I don’t get this problem when I’m using a Google chrome browser on a Windows laptop.

Given that Google puts that warning right in the window for Meet, there must be something to it being a Google problem.
I searched for you to find out how to share specific things in Google Meet: https://www.howtogeek.com/673905/how-to-share-your-screen-in-google-meet/
I went to that link before and it says that the only option for presentation for Mac Safari is the entire screen, no option for tab or window only unlike Google chrome that has all three presentation options.

Gee a Google product that is only fully supported in another Google product. What are the odds?
