Anyone else running mixed straps? Just picked up a white sport band yesterday and while I love them as solids, I'm digging them mixed. I think my preferred combo is the black top and white bottom (I like the black pin vs silver pin)...Thoughts? Any other combos out there?

I went to ibandswap to try to trade my spare black for a white as well. They gave me a match, but I never heard back from my "match". Might just have to do the same thing and just buy a white band. I foresee a good Fathers Day suggestion for my kids.

That sucks man. I heard the bands were in stock at Apple and wanted the white one. I love how the all white band looks - very sporty (much more so than the black) - but got a little creative with it.

I bet a sport silver would look sharp with white and blue!

(Waiting on my adapters and a band I've had my eyes on for a while - will share when that arrives)

That's awesome! I didn't even think about that as a possibility.
Once my watch arrives, I'll get a few more bands and give it a shot.

Not my style. Don't like at all.

I wouldn't mind a two tone band though.

I really like your thinking :p

You know when someone suggests an idea and you seriously find yourself questioning your own thought processes because that idea had never even occurred to you?

Black and white isn't for me, but the cogs are now turning...

I kind of like it, but I'd have to see it in person. I wonder what it would look like on the SS model?

i tried it last week with my white and pink bands for fun. Wasn't quite taken with it.

I think a critical factor in this maneuver is to have strong contrast between the bands. The pink and white is a little too flat. Again, ymmv.

Thanks:)

I'm glad you have a new idea for your watch - these are VERY personal. It's a little odd when they all look the same. Make sure to post up what you come up with!

Looks good to me. You can call that the Classic Tuxedo Look.

The "Penguin" model...unless Android has an OS with that name already...

Sweet - share with the class! Which model do you have?

Good lord! Clean your keyboard!

Might have to wait for other colours.. Pink and Green would be fairly OK but not as cool as Magenta and Green :)

Magenta and blue would be slick for chicks.

The new colors Jony Ive showed in Milan would work well.

Red and black/white? Orange and black/white?

Count me in.

That looks awesome! If I was getting a space gray (opted for SS), I would definitely rock that look. Hm. It might not be bad for the SS either... Would be interesting to see a pic of that combo.

Serenity Caldwell from iMore wears the white and blue band, for the R2D2 look.

Seinfeld black and white cookie was the first thing to jump in my head..."Side by side, in racial harmony!"

Great stuff. I have a white band, and this has inspired me to pick up a black as well.

That way I can combine being hated as an Apple fan AND as a Collingwood* fan.

Doubles my chances of being beaten up. Thanx

*Collingwood - the most hated club in the Australian Football League

Good idea for Collingwood supporters.......Only Australians will understand this post :D
