I am on my TV right now looking at the Top Movies in iTunes to see if there's something new to rent. I see a line of icons with "In Theaters Now-Watch it today" and NONE of the 5 items are either watchable now OR the movie in the theater.

    1) Black Mass- Pre-order the movie, no rental
    2) Captive-Pre-order the movie, no rental
    3) Everest- Rentable for 2.99 but not the new movie, the old documentary from 1998. Is that version in the theaters somewhere??
    4) The Perfect Guy- Pre-order the movie, no rental
    5) War Room- Pre-order the movie, no rental

    C'mon Apple. Quality control.

is this new or has it been this way for a while?

It is not new. Marketing people have been lying to us for hundreds of years.

    Now you know.

Ha! Now the buttons say "Pre-Order Today" instead. I wasn't the only one who noticed ;)
