I know you can hide photos but why is there no lock album feature?
it seems so easy to implement without having to use a 3rd party app
 
Everyone brings this up every iOS release...and you are correct...keep the "hidden" folders but just add a password step to open it.

Or put them in an encrypted Note.

Or put on something like Dropbox where you can add a passcode to the app.
 
They should just add the possibility to lock ANY App with a toggle from within the Face ID settings menu. Should be a given
 
And why not?

Because...people are stupid...we hear nothing but complaints about how they now can't unlock apps, or that the process is too slow, or how someone took their phone and locked their apps...hidden photos folder makes sense, but I have a hard time thinking of any others.
