Hopefully there's a simple explanation for this...

Just upgraded to an iPhone 6 and set up the phone from an iCloud backup. All worked great! Decided to reorganise my apps and move them around. So made them all 'wobbly' and started moving. One app just disappeared when I touched it. Have I somehow hidden it?? I haven't deleted it. I can find and launch the app using spotlight search. When I close it, it zooms away and disappears.... to where? Anyone know??

Try going to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage. Find the offending app in the list of applications, tap on it, and hit delete if you don't mind deleting it. Then re-download it.

If that doesn't work, try Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout and see if it returns.

If that still doesn't work, restore your phone again from the same backup you used originally. If the app still hasn't returned you may need to restore and set up as new.

Many thanks for the advice it's very useful as I wasn't sure how to delete the app if I couldn't see it.

Reboot phone and app will be back
