Missing battery percentage in status bar

I noticed that my battery no longer shows percentage in the status bar, it used to. When I go into battery preferences I don't see any way to re-enable this. I sure hope this comes back.

You can set up percentage at 'Menu & Dock' settings

Turn it on in the 'Dock & Menu Bar' menu, easy.

Yep, somebody else brought that to my attention...thank you. Still seems like something you should be able to enable via the battery preferences dialog. I submitted the suggestion to Apple.
