Missing competition for Fitness App

I'd been using a Fitbit Surge for the last 5 months and used Mobile Track on my iPhone before that on Fitbit. Since going back to the Apple Watch I really miss having competition. Fitbit recently added challenges, where you can challenge people on your friends list to a contest of steps.

I hope Apple does some sort of Game Center fitness competition feature within the Apple Watch ecosystem.

What does everyone else think of this?

I too was surprised that Game Center wasn't tied into the watch for challenges and general competition. It needs to be ther and I'm sure they will eventually include it as they have a lot of work to do with the Activity app.
