hello,

so recently i had a problem with my macbook concerning my menubar so i brought it into the genius bar and had it fixed. they fixed it by doing an archive & install while preserving my data. for a week everything was fine and i didn't notice anything wrong, up until i opened my adobe photoshop (cs2) and got an error telling me that i'm missing files. also, my garageband is missing all of its loops as well. does anyone know what happened? and if most of my apps are missing files? how can i get my main apps back to normal? should i reinstall? if, so how? =\
thanks...

Do you still have the "Previous System 1" folder hanging around, or did you delete it? If so, I think you can find your GarageBand loops in /Library/Audio within that folder.

As for CS2, give this hint a try. It's an old hint for an old version, but as far as I know, it's still valid.
