We just lost a LARGE number of files and folders in our office. One chunk of data was on a RAID attached to one workstation (Intel iMac), another chunk was on the xServe server. We have tried accessing the files from different computers, but no luck.

The two main workstations: Intel iMac running Leopard, Intel iMac running Snow Leopard. We just took the hard drives to an Apple store to see if they can find the missing files. Doesn't look good.

Is it possible that we got a virus? We've never even worried about this before.

Thanks

I appreciate the info. We're still wondering how so many files on different drives have dissappeared. At least we can rule out a virus.
