I have an Airport Extream Base Station and have had two external hard drives connected to it via a powered USB hub. I've had no issues with Time Machine until I added two additional external hard drives to the hub. When I go into Time Machine to choose a target there are none.
I am able to see the four external drives in FINDER but can not copy anything to them now. I also tried to do a SuperDuper backup but receive an error message stating the program can not find the source "internal hard drive" on my MacBook in order to mount it.
The only thing I can recall that has recently changed is the addition of the two exteranl hard drives AND setting up a shared printer which is used by my MacBook and a Windows PC. The printer is working correctly. In order to add the external HD's to my AEBS I had to first connect them directly to the USB port on my MacBook in order to format them etc. Once that was done I was able to connect them to the AEBS and see them via FINDER.
Can anyone shed some light on what I may be doing incorrectly?
Thanks !
