U know how ur iphone gets disable after u enter ur passcode wrongly too many times? First for 1 minute then 15 then like an hour?

That feature seems to be missing for me.
Wonder if users have the same issue?

isn't it just an option to disable it after 10 tries or none at all?

Nope, it's still there (it goes by unique different passcode attempts). People are even talking about some differences that it has in iOS 7: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1647053/
