Missing iOS5 features on iPhone 4

I have an iPhone 4 with the iOS5 GM, and one thing I noticed is that you cannot access the camera from the lock screen as show in the Introducing iPhone 4S video. It amazes me how something so easy isn't supported for their preexisting hardware.
