Missing keyboard in spotlight search

Does anyone else have this issue after updating to iOS 17.1? Keyboard is missing in spotlight search and sometimes it takes 2-3 tries for it to show up.

Yesss!! I thought it was just me!! I’m finally just now searching this issue as it just recently started happening for a good few days now! I updated to 17.1 last week Thursday.

NOPE! That didn’t work any of the times I did it but it’s fixed now! Guess it was a bug from the last update that finally worked itself out.

I have the same problem. It was fine until 17.1.1. The funny thing is, I never used spotlight search before 17.1 and it worked fine on that version. Now it rarely does.

This problem existed before iOS 17. I saw this on my iPad here and there on iOS 16. I had to connect to my Magic Keyboard folio to type.

Same issue for me, Spotlight not showing the keyboard. Restarting doesn’t solve it. It re-occurs and it can be reproduced fairly consistently. Reported it through the Feedback Form. Hope it gets solved asap, since I’m using Spotlight to launch my apps.

Not true. Still happening for me on 17.1.2

This only happens to me when the phone is docked or an external keyboard is connected… which is probably expected.
