Missing Keystrokes

I am having the same problem. For the longest time I thought it was me... I just downloaded the firmware and not having this problem... hope it is truly fixed.
 
12 years later, I have the same issue on Catalina and 2015 5k iMac. It's not the keyboard hardware, this is the second keyboard.
