Hey everybody I'm new to macs. I just got my first MacBook pro two weeks ago. So last night I was browsing the Internet and I saw a tutorial on how to get a black menu bar. So I thought to myself I'll try it out. So I followed the tutorial to where the last step I did was to restart the computer. So I restarted it and when it came on the top menu bar was missing and I couldn't open anything on the dock so I'm typing all this from my phone:( if any body has some kind of idea on how to fix it please point me in some kind of direction. Thx

If you can still get to the tutorial, point us to it so we can see what you screwed up. The tutorial may not have been for your OS.

I just love a good mystery!

So, any guesses about what the cause of the problem was, or how it got fixed?

I know! ...

The OP was at a restaurant on the waterfront. The waitress took the menu to the bar, that's why the OP could not see it, or open anything. Then the OP decided to go inside the restaurant (rather than staying out on the Dock) and everything could be opened in there, including the menu at the bar.

Great story!

Makes perfect sense to me :D
