    Hey guys,

I was trying to delete a partition on my HDD (MBR Map Scheme) using Disk Utility, and accidentally quit Disk Utility during the deletion. Now my HDD only recognizes four of the five partitions, with the one I was trying to delete missing. It does not show up on Disk Utilities.

Is there a way to repair the Partition Map or convert MBR to GUID without losing the data?

    Thanks so much!

    JH

If you have access to Windows, this app literally saved me from losing 2TB of data last week. It works decently quick too, since the only real problem is that the partition map is broken. Just whatever you do, DON'T format the drive.

The free version is all you need.
