After ssh into my iPhone I am able to go into the directory where all the .plist files are and grab them/modify. But after a re-sync of my iPhone, I cannot see these files anymore. The only file in /private/var/root/Library/Preferences is the installer.plist after I sync up the iPhone and ssh back to that directory.

Where did they go? Shouldn't I still being seeing a bunch of these .plist files?

For what it is worth, I am using a 1.1.4 Jailbroken (via ZiPhone) iPhone.

    Any help would be great!

In 1.1.3 and 1.1.4, your prefernces are no longer stored in /private/var/root/Library/Preferences
    They are now in /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences
