Missing "plus" sign for bookmarks

    I've got my iPad and a buddy of mine just got one too and I was trying to tell him how to save a website to his homepage using the plus sign just to the left of the address line - but he said that he didn't have it.

    How do you go about adding the plus sign within Safari to be able to set bookmarks and homepage icons?

    Btw, i've already turned on the "always show bookmarks bar" in the settings.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    In 4.2.1 it was moved to the box with the arrow pointing to the right. You can bookmark, homescreen, email, or print the page from this menu.
