I just got my Macbook back from the apple store after the hdd crashed but apparantly didn't completely die. The apple store told me that they had recovered all my data from my old hdd and put onto the new one. However, I have searched and done everthing I could think of to find that data and I can't find it anywhere. Now, my disk utitlity tells me that i've used up 24gigs but I haven't added anything to the new hdd - so i know there is stuff on here, but where, I have no clue...any ideas?

Could it be in a different user account? Maybe try using WhatSize to find where the space is being used.

It's all in one folder. I can't think of the name they use. Should be in your Home folder.

How big would the average clean install of Tiger be? Anyone know? I'm running the two programs suggested...thanks very much.
