Guys,
I see there is a program out there called missing sync; Do I need it, and if so what can it do for me that my Mac with Leopard cant do?
Thanks

Neil

IMHO, as it stands, the Missing Sync is horrifically overpriced for what it offers. It strikes me as a "we need to get SOMETHING to market" product and not a must-have. Save your cash.

does it require any software changes to the iphone, like jailbreaking or something

No. It simply takes data on the phone that gets backed up to your computer and makes it more useable. There are free utilities that do roughly 70% of what Missing Sync does. Wait for the SDK and see if they improve it.
