Missing texts?

So my friend claims to have replied to a few texts to my iPhone 3G, but i have yet to recieve them.. Anyone ever have a problem where texts never arrive?

Call AT&T and ask to speak with AT&T Tech Support.

Tell Tech Support to check your LRN (Location Routing Number) and the MetCalf database.

Yeah its about a month old

is the LRN and metcalf database for all carriers? i have this problem and i'm on t-mobile. they say because i'm using an iPhone that's the problem.
