Mission Control and Office 11

Hey all - Whenever I reboot my iMac running 10.7.2 Excel and Word do not go to their assigned mission control desktop. They just go to the desktop next to the dashboard. The option on the dock is set for them to open on desktop 7 and 8 (excel and word).
Is this just a MS Office quirk or am I missing something?

It's an Office problem. Office has never played well with Spaces in Snow Leopard anyway...

Office has always worked just fine with Spaces for me, I use it right now with Snow Leopard.
