Mission control with no animation

After my friend installed for me some kind of desktop calender with the name of blotter my mission control works with no animation.
i tried resetting smc and killing the dock but with no success
i also tried restarting the mac and killing blotter(the calender app) but still with no success
i have a macbook pro with mavericks
