Misssion control problem

so basically ive been unable to use mission control for the past two months as can see the desktops on the top bar when i activate it, the picture below explains it all

so how do i get it back to normal, i can still swipe through all the desktops on my magic mouse but it gets annoying , all help would be appreciated 🙂

That looks like App Expose, with Finder being the frontmost app, as opposed to Mission Control.

Hit Ctrl + Arrow Up and see what happens.

thank you im a bit of a noob and seen that i have messed up the shortcuts in system preferences
