Mistake to buy iSight now?

I am thinking of buying an iSight soon but I am wondering is it likely to be upgraded to take advantage of any improvements likely to be brought about by Tiger.
Anybody have any thoughts?
Does anybody use it with Skype?

At the current price, I really can't be bothered to buy the iSight. There have been rumblings of a significant price reduction prior to the launch of Tiger.

Maybe I'm being dim, but Skype doesn't support video chats. It'd only work as a very expensive microphone… 🙂

At work we ahve iSights. But i just bought a Creative NX Ultra (at a fraction of the price after rebate of the iSight). I will do a side by side once my laptop gets here.
