MiWi 4 connection drops consistently

Just upgraded to 4 and very disappointed. Everytime the iPhone goes to sleep, locks, MiWi loses connection. Fix for this?

There is an existing MyWi 4 thread, where issues such as this are being discussed. Might be a better place to get answers.
