Mix Ram Sizes -

I recently purchased this set from OWC -
-- 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3 ECC PC10600 1333MHz SDRAM ECC for Mac Pro
--

I want to find out if I can add this set from OWC -
-- 64GB (4x16GB) DDR3 ECC PC10600 1333MHz SDRAM ECC for Mac Pro
--

This should yield 96GB, but - does it work or am I setting myself up for problems?

This disclaimer is from OWC's website (the RAM page for the Mac Pro 4,1 and 5,1):

"*16GB Module Sets require that all installed modules be of the same p/n OWC 16GB modules. 16GB modules do not mix with other density (1GB, 2GB, 4GB or 8GB) module types."

This is the link to the page that has that disclaimer.

No, you can't mix 16GB modules which are registered RAM with your 8GB modules which are unbuffered. As far as I know there are currently no unbuffered 16/32 GB modules available, so forget about mixing 16GB modules with lower density ones unless they are also registered.
