mixing different brands of ram

Right, so I got 4Gb of Crucial ram right now - MBP 5,1
It supports 6Gb, and I need it. So I want to pick up a single 4Gb stick. However, a Crucial 4Gb stick is like $113 while a G-skill variant is only $63.

(they are both DDR3 8500 1066)
