Is this possible?

I have a UK iTunes account, with all my music, films etc

Yet I also have a cable subscription in the States so I have HBO, NBC Sports etc also on my ATV and I can watch apps from both regions with some DNS tweaking.

I’m now back in the UK (still got the cable sub) and I want to stay logged in with my UK account because of all of my content.

Is there anyway of linking the tv app to both my UK and American apps? Or would I need to switch between US and UK accounts each time?

I'm not sure that's correct. The iTunes Store account and the TV Provider account are independent of each other. I don't think the OP would need switch anything. Just stay logged into the UK iTunes Store account and the TV Provider account and I think the TV app will still work.

Although I could be wrong about this, but I believe this is how it would work. But I don't have any way to actually test it.

Well I can only go by my own experience using the exact same situation. With my uk account active I see my uk tv services only (and UK iTunes movies etc) whereas with my US account active I just see the US services.

So what you're saying is if you are logged into your UK iTunes Store account, when go to log into a TV providers you only see UK TV providers? Interesting. Are you in the UK? If so, are you sure it isn't the physical location of the Apple TV that is only allowing you to see those providers? I'm wondering if locations services is somehow getting into the mix.

I have this exact set up at home. I use a friends direct TV login details

U.K iTunes account with my iTunes movies I've purchased
US iTunes account to download US apps like HBO, cbs etc

I stayed logoned to my uk account so that I can access all my music and iTunes purchased content. Within the Tv app I can only use uk channels such as BBC or Amazonia prime

The good part is I can still use the US apps so for example if if I want to watch Big Bang Theory I just launch the CBS app. I do not have to switch my iTunes account to my US one ever, unless I want to install a new US only app

For a DNS service I recommend getflix

That is exactly how mine works - you can use the US apps on a UK account, but they don't all mix together in the TV app.

For example, if I watch a UK iTunes film - that appears in the UK TV app fine, if I want to resume it etc. If I then watch something on HBO, for example, that TV program does not appear in the TV app, unless I watch it while logged into my US iTunes account i.e. the TV app is tied to your iTunes account by region, and you can't intermingle content from both countries.
