ML and MBP wifi speeds?

does mountain lion do anything about the uber crappy wifi on a lot of macbook pro's?

my sony laptop standing next to my brand new 2012 macbook pro is getting wifi speeds of 13mbit / s while the macbook is getting 2.5mbit /s !!! :/

what the hell...... this is pointless and unusable !

Anyone know if ML helps this? or if it is something else? reading about the issues makes you angry and frustrated as it seems to go back to 2008 and still noone can give a strait answer.

You've either got serious router compatibility problem or a faulty Mac to be only getting speeds like that so I wouldn't expect much from mountain lion...
