i am going back to lion for now until the battery life is fixed. i have a USB with Lion on it so i am good for now. i need the battery life for school and 4 hours wont cut it at all for me and with having 5 hours of classes back to back.

ETA: Once it gets fixed i will put it back to ML

I was about to agree with you that ML is greater than, greater than, greater than, greater than Lion. Oh well. ;)
Hopefully battery issue will be fixed soon enough.

it is much greater than it but battery life is more important since i wont get to charge it as often as i do at home. i mean i charged it to 100% and when i unplugged it it said 4:38 hours.

There are lots of people reporting battery issues with ML.
Even the 10.8.1 upgrade from apple said it improved battery life, but not to the same level as Lion had.

No noticeable battery life drop for me on a rMBP. I did notice some bug with the graphics being stuck on discrete and refusing to change back to integrated, even when forced via gfxCardStatus and an NVRAM reset. The fix is apparently to go to System Preferences and mess with the Graphics Switching options.

Actually, the converse happens too, being stuck on integrated. Applications like VLC would crash when launching with no error messages whatsoever until I stumbled upon the solution.

I wonder if this is responsible for the battery life problems.

its back my battery life is back for now but on lion
