ML from new Mac mini for other Macs?

Can my late 2008 unibody MacBook handle ML? (I have 8GB of RAM in now)

I am about to buy a new Mac mini in a couple of weeks. Can I use that to install it on my Macbook or will I have to purchase it separately?
