I've been trying to get better range with my wifi so I ran the diagnostic tool with 2 different settings the thing is ... I have no idea which is the better result!

    Any idea?

The second one is appearing to give you better results, or you could try the first set of settings but change the channel manually to 11 (since the ones around you are on 3 and 6, that would give you the best separation from them and therefore the least interference).

Ok thanks, that change made it worse... so the higher the -NN the better

OK, sorry, I was being stupid. Nope, it's the other way around, the "higher" number is worse, because it's a negative (approaching 0, which would be a perfect signal, I suppose). So you want the opposite of what I said, except that it seems that changing the channel actually does give a better result.
