It's a great trade for the Mets for Edwin alone. Cano will be a dead weight in a few years and his contract is hugely bloated, but the $20 million will help that. He will help in the short term as long as he stays clean. Looks like the new GM is making some big moves and the Wilpons are staying out of it.what he said ^^^ #Mets
Sources have it that the Red Sox resigned Eovaldi to a four years, 67.5 million dollar contract.
Mets just signed catcher Wilson Ramos, fans are happy about this move. the new manager is making moves
whoa,
Dodgers/Reds complete a blockbuster trade
Dodgers trade Kemp, Puig, Wood to Cincinnati
Looks like they may make a run at Bryce Harper, at least the talking heads at ESPN thinks so. I wonder up Puig is taking this, he seems like a prima donna and leaving LA with all of the trappings may be a shock for him
That just looks so unnatural to throw sidearm.Puig, and Machado, are horrible people. I hope it really pisses him off.
S.F. Giants sign sideshow act Pat Vindette the ambidextrous pitcher.

I don't think ambidextrous is the right wordS.F. Giants sign sideshow act Pat Vindette the ambidextrous pitcher.
Imagine trying to hit a baseball as the pitcher throws with both arms.
Any relation to Bing?Byline is wrong.
Should be By NORM CROSBY
@Centaurr The Mets have been pretty active since the Cano deal. They signed all arbitration-eligible players, including deGrom for a record $17 million (record raise on an arbitration-avoiding agreement), nabbed Keon Broxton and Jed Lowrie.
I'm not sure what the Cano and Lowrie deals mean for McNeil, Cano replaces him at 2B and Lowrie can play every infield position. The Broxton deal means that Lagares is likely not the every-day CF, though he balances the L/R batting mix with the lefty bats in Nimmo and Conforto.
They did say they wanted to spend money and be stupid about it.The Phillies might be in on both Harper and Machado.
