This was already the best $10 I've spent on an app, once they add the full slate of games for streaming, it's going to be absolutely awesome (and probably will cost significantly more next season...)

How do they know what market? Do they check your zip code from ATT somehow?

ive always thought its only a matter of time before we get the video feeds on the iphone for MLB. i think its true that it will cost significantly more next season.... but oh well! I love baseball!

Same here, all the more reason to use the slingplayer instead. I hate when MLB does this blackout crap. I wouldve signed up a long time ago for the MLB premium service if they didnt black out my team. I understand why they do it, but I wish they didnt.

The mlb blackout business is BS. Luckily i follow the Cubs mostly and i live in MN, so for me, no problem. I would be pissed if it was the Twins i wanted to watch, but couldn't see them cause they're "in-market".

Location services on the phone, so you can't trick it.
FYI there's a big thread about this in the App Store forum.
this is FANtastic news! now I can watch my Dodgers on my 3GS! with me in Minnesota right now, I will be able to watch every game! This is going to save me on my annual camping trip to Lake Superior... now I cant wait 🙂

Mets fan in LA here. So friggen stoked. Met's Rays on sunday on my iphone! Can't wait till they get all the games going. If ATT shuts this down for data concerns i'm gonna kill someone.
The appstore needs a MOTOGP or WSBK app that streams races....that I'd buy in a second....
