Better go to T-Mobile and read the restrictions. It's for new subscribers only in 2019 and you must sign up using cellular not WiFi. In other words.... read the fine print.

I'm pretty sure they're referring to new MLB.TV subscribers in the fine print and not new T-Mobile customers. I have a friend on T-Mobile with no interest in baseball whatsoever who hooks me up every year.
Those who already have active 2019 MLB.TV subscriptions need to cancel by 3/22 to be eligible for T-Mobile's campaign.
I just got mail from T-mobile at the address I use for my MLB account that begins:
Thank you for redeeming your free MLB.TV subscription last year. T-Mobile is pleased to offer you another season of free MLB.TV in 2019.
This confirms it 100%. Just make sure you don't already have an active MLB account by 3/22 and you'll be good to go.
