I was using mimac fine until this one time it didn't connect, instead it slowed my system down and still does even today (i'm using .6 version).

Anybody had this problem?

Trying to force quit takes about a minute as well unless you click on the finder first then force quit.

I then deleted the program and installed it again but it crashes now all the time.

I'm 7 episodes off from finishing Futurama series

Granted not everyone can affford vpc.
However Kazaa running in windows 2000 guest os is anything but slow. The speed is just about as fast as Kazaa on my pc.

I use kazaa in vpc simply because it works. No spending countless hours fiddling with these kazaa clones that are simply half baked at best.

LimeWire is not the closest thing to Kazaa. I'd say it's either Mlmac or Acquisition, they both are superior to LimeWire.

I agree with you about the speed and efficiency of Kazaa in VPC. The only thing it can't do(in regards to file sharing) is get Mac applications.

mlMac works very well, but not if you are running Panther. yes you CAN find Mac Apps out there, most are from eDonkey (which is also supported) but things will only improve as more and more people use mlMac.

You can find Mac apps in Kazaa?

Just to note, i fixed the issue i had with Mimac, i had to delete the entire folder in the applications folder for it and then reinstall it.

Also the downloads i had going for it only resume if you start to download the same file again. I had about 30 files saved and so far only 2 have resumed.

Works good now however.

Q: How does one limit or assign a folder for uploads, i can limit the bandwidth in the options but i was wondering how mimac finds my files for which to upload?
