This guy is either genius or this is a joke. It's only $10 but still, anyone considering this? Caught it on engadget. Recently got an iMac (was an mbp user) and I really like the magic mouse with the exception of the support -- pretty used to logitech mice in my hands and i can't go back to it after using the MM for a couple weeks.

Concern of mine is that suction cup just not working well or falling apart after any kind of prolonged use.

It's not designed to be used like a regular mouse though. I use mine with just the tips of my fingers and rest my wrist and base of my palm on the mousepad on my desk. The only issue with that product I can see is losing that much of the surface of the mouse. It pretty much renders the multitouch useless for me (at least with the way I use it). And if you have MagicPrefs, you can't use the option to tap on the Apple logo.

MM Fixed : The most useless piece of heavy plastic I have ever bought

Hello,

I joined this forum just so I could post this, sad to be negative on my first post as I love everything Apple and am generally a super positive person.

This product is a useless, heavy piece of plastic that makes the magic mouse nearly twice as heavy as it is on it's own. DO NOT BUY.

Totally useless. I did buy it and have to send the stupid thing back to the US to get a $12 refund. And they haven't even told me where to send it, great, thanks.

By the time I have paid postage from the UK, it will not leave me with much left over but just on principle, I will do it as it is SO badly designed.

The whole problem with the magic mouse is the weight of it, NOT the shape of it, for me and lots of other people. I use it for long periods of time, and depending what I am doing, it can make my wrist more or less painful.

Actually now I don't use it so much, I don't have any pain but this MM 'Fixed" makes the mouse SOOOOO much heavier, the shape of it really isn't an issue, the sales video for mm fixed makes it seem like it is but for me it is JUST the weight of the mouse, so this product is outstandingly the most useless thing in the world.

I hope this stops other people from buying it and I wish I had found people saying this before I bought it.

The idea is good but the execution is bad. The suction cup is made of rubbery silicon instead of plastic so it doesn't adhere to the mouse, and no kind of double-sided tape works. My next step is to glue it... wish me luck

I’ve had one of these for years now, and I gotta admit, I love it. It makes the Magic Mouse much easier to handle and much gentler in my hand in my opinion. Others may think differently, but I’m certainly a fan of it!
