MMS Messages - Help

Brand new Iphone 3G owner here with a text messaging issue:

Can Iphones receive text messages containing ringtones? Pictures? Videos? Mine doesn't.

Any comments, guidance.....is greatly appreciated.

It cant do any of the above, only receive text.

The iPhone does not currently support MMS. Pictures and video can be sent and received through standard email.

No MMS on the iPhone. When you receive them, you are directed to a site where you can view them.

you can send emails though to their cell email and they will get it as a mms.

Ex.

##########@vzwpix.com would send an MMS to a verizon phone..

picture anyways.
