MMS ON 2G for 3.1.2

So I googled it but everything I found didn't make sense at all.. Can someone please help me put MMS on a 2g Iphone that has 3.1.2 software in a simple way. I saw on cydia there is swirlyMMS. is that it?

Or at least point me in the direction on a blog that has simple instructions... thanks guys
 
Use SwirlyMMS. It works no matter what. I have it working on my 2G running 2.2.1. It still uses up a MMS both to send and receive if you have limited MMS per month.
