MMS: saving received audio files?

Is there a way to save the audio file from a received MMS? Or at least copy it to somewhere where it can exist outside of the original conversation?

I just tested this, and I wasn't able to save it. I even tried to copy and paste this to an email and nothing.

Actually I did find one rather cheesy way to "save" it- you can click the Edit button in the conversation, then forward it via MMS to an email address.

MMS to email fails every time

I tried to forward to an email address with the MMS but it fails each time. I can forward it to @mms.att.net but that defeats the purpose.
