MMS Still Fails 2/3rds of the Time

No, mine have never failed... But, to understand your problem more clearly, which iPhone do you have, what carrier version and which firmware revision are you running? This may help in one of the forum members providing a fix for you.

AT&T official, not unlocked.

iPhone 3GS 32GB (white)
3.1.2 (7D11)
AT&T 5.6

I don't know if MMS is allowed to go through WiFi, but it usually fails on WiFi too.

I would call AT&T, they can help you much better than we can. I have also heard of people getting some pretty decent discounts and rebates for the problems with MMS.

I was at a pumpkin festival last night and couldn't no matter how many times I tried (5+) send a simple picture message. 5 bars and edge connection showing. I understand it was very busy there in a relatively small town but HOW F'NG HARD IS IT to send a freaking picture message. I HATE HATE HATE AT&T

I'm not even in an area with a lot of AT&T customers.

Guess I'll call 611 and spend another hour on the phone. 🙁

Go into the store... Usually much easier that way.

They can fix that stuff over their tech support chat too. That requires less commitment than being on the phone 🙂. To access it just click on phone/device on ATT's website and it should be listed on that page.

Not driving 45 minutes - 1 hour just to go to the store. Wish they had one closer. :-/

I might check out the online chat; although I've had only marginal success with it in the past.
