MMSing Contacts

Ok so i have MMS on my phone so i have the option to send contacts as both email and MMS. So when i try to send one of my contacts to someone via MMS, they never seem to get it.

So does this happen to anyone else?

I dont really think that sending a contact to someone is really MMS, but that might be why. If i send a contact to a person that doesnt have MMS on their phone, does that mean they wont get the contact?
