Yes they are secure I use mine on a regular basis.

They just seem less secure compared to desktop banking because it's always on cellular or wifi.

If they weren't, the banks wouldn't be making them. 😉

They get updated regularly so they're on the same page with whatever enhancements they're doing on their servers too.

Lots of people use them.
