Mobile Me and phone tracking

Hi guys,

I got a voicemail last night from my friend, saying he's lost his iPhone. Is it possible to sign up to use the Mobile Me 60 day free trial, to use the phone tracking software on it? If so, what information do you need to setup the phone tracking, because obviously he doesnt have access to any of this phones unique serial codes etc.

Nope. The lost unit would then need to have mobileme registered on the phone, then the 'find my phone' setting activated on the phone itself, which defaults to off. In a word, no. Sorry. Check the clothes hamper.
