Hey everyone, I'm kind of new to the forum and even Macs though I've had my Mac book pro for a little over a year. So please go slow if you could.
Anyways, here's the deal. I had been using Mobile me for my iPhone and Mac since I purchased it last october. I recently just got out of boot camp and my mobile me account had expired. I opted to go with a different email provider so I ended up turning mobile me off on my computer. I kept getting notices that my Mobile me had expired and that it wasn't syncing once I had turned it off.
Anyways, last night I turned mobile me completely off to get the annoying notices to keep showing up. I turned my computer on this evening and where it had previously said iDisk on my desktop, it now says "Previous local iDisk for myname.sparsebundle."

I've done research and found that it's basically a back up of files. What concerns me is how it showed up. Would this just be from cutting off my mobile me? I never consciously had tried to set anything up last night. And I'm a little confused on what exactly to do. When I opened it up it had a folder for "Bands" with documents 0, 1,3,20,21 and token in it. I'm really not sure at all what to do with it. I've seen that I'm able to compress it, it says it is 31.9 MB, should I?

Sorry for being lengthy, but the more info the better I suppose. Thanks anyone!

Basically, when you turn off iDisk syncing, it creates that image of your iDisk in case there is anything in there that you want.

If that image has nothing that you want to keep, you can go ahead and trash it.

Actually I went ahead and tried trashing it, but each time it said that the documents were in use and would not delete. Any tips?
