mobile me doesnt locate my iphone

i just received a brand new iphone 4 from the us.

i followed the instrcutions about opening mobile me on my iphone and it is turned on.

however, when i try to locate my iphone on my computer it only shows in which country it is.

no streets, city or other helpful information.

if my iphone is lost i wont be able to find it, the map doesnt say where it is.
