mobile me mail name is not what I chose

Hi all,
I just signed up for the 60-day trial. I entered the name I wanted Danielmora and all the other info. I clicked continue and it asked for my CC info. I did that but when it signed me up it put "petpetdanielmora" for my user name and email address. Why didn't it tell me that danielmora was taken and ask me to enter a different name instead of putting petpet infront of it.

is there a way to validate if a email name is taken before signing up?
