Mobile Notifier not hiding or showing SMS Notifications

I use iRealSMS for my text messaging. When I receive a text message the pop up shows and does not show up under Missed Notifications for Mobile Notifier. Is Mobile Notifier compatible with text messaging notifications, and missed call notifications for that matter?
 
Turns out it does not work with iRealSMS. I got it working with the regular apple message app.
